As a Senior Solution Architect on the Data Analytics Data Platform (DADP) team, you recommend, analyze, design, develop, and deliver business intelligence solutions primarily
using data platform-related services on AWS. The Senior Solution Architect is an expert at using analytical and critical thinking skills with modern data platform solution development experience who creates scalable and reliable data solutions.The Senior Architect can lead all parts of the platform development process, from gathering requirements, to solution delivery, and documentation of lessons learned along with recommending, designing & developing these client solutions. You also actively coach and mentor data engineers and solution architects. And as an NRI team member, you will provide top-notch service and suggestions to not only your clients and the project you’re working on but also to your NRI teammates.
Responsibilities

pipelines that transform and model data, and reporting and analytics solutions.

• Efficiently, effectively, and carefully leverage, evaluate, and recommend AI tools
to develop data platforms and data analytics solutions.
• Is a trusted advisor in providing value and solutions to a variety of clients in different industries.
• Organizes, leads, and contributes to internal Communities of Interest
• Functions as the technical lead on projects.
• Leads and conducts assessment and strategy roadmap engagements.
• Identifies issues early, proposes solutions, and tactfully raises concerns and proposes solutions.
• Builds data platform roadmaps and identifies milestones.
• Conducts code peer reviews.
• Clearly articulates pros and cons of various tools/approaches.
• Documents and diagrams proposed solutions.
• Orchestrates solutions to reduce data latency and cost, picking the right service based on the workload.
• Understands cloud services pricing, plus how to monitor and manage costs as part of solution development.
• Participate in pre-sales efforts including whiteboard sessions, ROM development, and peer reviews of sales documents.
• Actively coaches and mentors Data Engineers and Solution Architects.
• Regularly contributes to and develops delivery frameworks and tools.

Required Technical Skills
• 7 – 9 years of work experience in data engineering
• Your data engineering experience should include the following modern data platform or engineering technologies: Snowflake, dbt, Airflow, Databricks, Redshift, and Palantir.
• Understanding of Agile engineering practices
• Deep familiarity and experience in the following areas: Data warehouse and lakehouse methodologies, including medallion architecture; Data ETL/ELT processes; Data profiling and anomaly detection; Data modeling (Dimensional/Kimball); SQL
• Strong background in relational database platforms
• DevOps/Continuous integration & continuous delivery
Required Skills
• EXCELLENT verbal and written communication skills…will be expected to interact with client (gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, etc)
• Able to work independently
• Proactive approach…must be able to continue to drive the project to completion with only general direction
MISC
• Would prefer as much overlap with US ET and CT time zones. 2:00 pm IST to 11:00 pm IST shift is acceptable for a candidate that can work independently
